When KAWS Was Relevant Video
Here's a great vintage clip of former vandal turned Japanese pop art celebrity KAWS altering fashion ads in NYC 11-years-ago. The vandal made a big name for himself by reworking outdoor advertisements, adding his own signature elements and then replacing them back in their respective kiosks. These street based operations of the past represent some of the best work KAWS has ever done and makes the stuff he does today looks rather toy.

Yeah,these were the days when seeing a KAWS billboard was cool,even though ,we were never feeling the semen-meet-the -skull thingie.
