The purpose of the stimulus bill isn't to address the credit crisis. It is the bailout legislation that does that. And yes, many legislators (as well as the media and general population) don't realize that they are not the same thing.

pumping trillons $2,000,000,000,000 into the broken system is only rewarding the people who broke it. this may help but it probablly will devalue our currency to third world status quickly. time to move into the mountains.
