Sarah Palin Out Of The Closet
Noted left-leaning advertiser Manhattan Mini-Storage has of course joined in on the bashing of be-suited bear-killing bimbo. This poster has been up in subway cars and bus shelter kiosks for a few weeks. You have to admit that the Republican VP candidate certainly is an inspiring muse to artists of every ilk. From Tina Fey on SNL. To street artists, both local and national. To political illustrators. And even to mock comic book artists. I'm actually surprised she hasn't shown up in more adverts, considering the lazy pop culture-flooded minds of ad agency creatives (me included). One thing's a certainty: Palin's new six-figure stumping wardrobe wouldn't come fucking close to fitting in the average Manhattan closet.

We aren't supposed to notice that.

I gotta admit as a conservative. a six figure pricetag on clothing is more than a bit excessive. whoever made that choice should be fired, and the the mccain palin campaign should admit how stupid this obvious blunder was. that being said its not enough to sway my support for mccain.

As a just left of center liberal, the $150,000 doesn't bother me that much, Gabe. I understand that it's part of the game. What bothers me about Palin is that she is completely unqualified for the job, which is merely as understudy for the POTUS. Imagine, oh McCain supporter, evangelical, messianic, provincial Palin with her finger on the big red button. That's a recipe for World War if I ever heard one. This is not even considering the travesty that would be the supreme court, the death of the American dream through the reversal of progressive taxation and the erosion of our civil liberties.
