Sarah Palin Is A 'Frightening Prospect'
Retired General Colin Powell eloquently expressed why Sarah Palin isn't qualified to be vice president, telling Tom Brokaw, "She's a very distinguished woman, and she's to be admired. But at the same time, now that we have had a chance to watch her for some seven weeks, I don't believe she's ready to be president of the United States, which is the job of the vice president." That's the nice, diplomatic way of saying the governor sucks. Here's another: she's a "Frightening Prospect," the name ascribed to an anti-Sarah Palin street art campaign that's been popping up in a few cities. The activist encouraging website provides downloadable posters of the vampiric Alaskan and even offers wheatpaste instructions 101 for brewing up a sticky mix perfect for slopping generously all over her frightful face. first time visiting the site and for the most part im pretty impressed. im a little dissappointed however that such a seemingly bright blogger could get sucked into the loony left propaganda spin cycle. but usually passionate people have trouble seeing past the hatred and find comfort in viewing the world in a way that help them vent. as i said im mostly impressed but id rather criticize what i think is the dumb stuff.

I'm one of the people behind the art/project/website featured in this article. I know you're referring to this blog in your comment, but I couldn't resist clarifying things a bit.
My project wasn't borne out of a hatred for Palin; more out of the fear that she could one day be leading our country. The visuals are more in the tradition of political caricature than simple hate mongering. I know that many will disagree and/or misinterpret, but this is the nature of art.

There's no disillusionment going on here, we're with Noam Chomsky on this one. Now, the extent to which the loony right has dragged down this presidential campaign along with the pick of Sarah the Dumb moves these images, thoughts, and rants way past hatred and directly towards an acknowledgment of how utterly dangerous of a pick she is.
After her 3rd attempt she still can't even explain he fundamentals of the position she seeks. This is the worst vice presidential pick in the history of the United States and it alone should disqualify a vote for McCain. So to dismiss this all as "hate," is doing your self and the site a disservice and certainly doesn't serve as a last voice of reason!

dont know im only slightly convinced about the hate issue. I have trouble with my own biases as well, and i certainly dont agree with your political views. I am convinced that Barrack Obama has been very lawyer like in explaining his positions.Im not at all convinced hes been forthcoming with his positions. We could debate it all day. Dosent disqualify him. Im sure you see it differently, but Palin has a long career mostly acting as a social conservative. I have no reason to believe she would act any differently in the White House. As far as fundamentals of positions. Teams of high paid lawyers are drawing up thousands of pages of policy for both sides. They are unclear and loaded with loopholes. Its up to whoever gets elected to streamline the system and make it transparent. elequence or a lack of isnt a good barometer when measuring FUNDAMENTALS. oh sorry about the lastvoiceofreason crap but now you know my name I just wasnt sure what I was getting into (not very computer savy) ill reserve my apology on the hate speech thing (jurys still out for me on that one) thanks for the response
