DOMESTIC TERRORISTS

Alaskan Independence Party Is 'Positively Palin'

500_aip_palin_.jpg Long before Governor Sarah Palin was delivering sympathetic videos to the radical America-hating Alaskan Independence Party (AIP) and her husband Todd severed his seven year membership, she's been enjoying the support of the highly unpatriotic, secessionist-promoting group for the past decade or so. Here's a photo from their website of a "Positive-ly Palin" campaign sign affixed to a recruitment booth the AIP set up at a state fair in 1999—she served as Mayor of Wasilla from 1996-2002. The Palin's close relationship to the extremist group has increasingly come under scrutiny lately, as more people learn about the AIP and it's founder Joe "Six Pack" Vogler who also wasn't fond of Eastern elitists and like Sarah Palin, fancied himself a Washington outsider. "The fires of hell are frozen glaciers compared to my hatred for the American government. And I won't be buried under their damn flag. I'll be buried in Dawson. And when Alaska is an independent nation they can bring my bones home."

The official AIP t-shirt depicting a graphic of Alaska being devoured by a snake, represented as the nation's capital and the rest of the country, also articulates their positions rather nicely too. Still not sure? Here's a new video of the Alaskan anarchist herself "palling around" with secessionists.
