John Grider and Mike Fitzsimmons of Minneapolis-based Broken Crow join Brooklyn-dwelling Logan Hicks of Workhorse Visuals for a three-day installation at the former Hamilton Savings & Loan building in Carroll Gardens. For the collaboration of three artists favoring delicate hand-cut stencils, Hicks brings his photorealistic paintings of decaying urban vistas, while the duo behind Broken Crow, rumored to hold the record for largest stencil painting, show larger than life paintings of wild animals. After opening on Friday from 7 to 11 PM, Broken Horse will only be on view May 2nd and 3rd from 12 PM to 6 PM at 498 Court Street. Click through the images below for a preview of the trio’s new work.
