Watch Early Rave And Vintage Computer Graphics-Influenced Music Video From Bombo

May 8, 2014 | Sophie Weiner

This morning, the New York based multi-media design collective Eyebodega (Rob Chabebe, Joe Perez) premiered the music video “When I Look” for electronic artist Bobmo. The video features vintage internet-influenced psychedelic 3D visuals, which Eyebodega made in a trans-Atlantic collaboration with UK artist Michael Willis, a former member of Euopean artist collective Panther Club.

Chabebe told ANIMAL that his goal in making the video was to “Capture the feel and energy of early rave and motion graphics… perfectly blurring Lo-Fi/early CGI graphics with analog distortions.”

Check out our previous coverage of Willis’ participation in the Tumblr art collaboration Cloaque.
