Cops Arrest More Times Square Characters After Spider-Man Attack

July 28, 2014 | Sophie Weiner

Over the weekend, a man dressed as Spider-Man punched an NYPD officer in Times Square. This has lead to a crackdown on costumed characters.

“They’re like little terrorists preying on all the tourists,” a police officer told the Post.

The Naked Black Cowboy, legally Titus Gandy, was arrested when he showed up at the Midtown South Precinct to visit Junion Bishop, the cop-punching Spider-Man. Gandy had an open warrant and was charged for drug possession when cocaine was found in his wallet.

On Saturday, five other characters were arrested, including Jesse from Toy Story, Captain America and an additional Spider-Man. (Photo: Aymann Ismail/ANIMALNewYork)
