Birds Gone Hitchcock In Queens

June 13, 2014 | Marina Galperina

A group of small, blue and white birds have been harassing the workers of an air-conditioning store in Woodside, Queens. For about a week, they have been swooping down at people coming in and out of the store, pecking them. One bird has been attempting to forcefully nest in an employee’s hair. Another worker told NY1:

We’ve got to do something about that because I know some people were bleeding because the birds were coming down. I mean it was right out of an Alfred Hitchcock movie.

Cops were called, but they weren’t very helpful. The aerial bullies didn’t exactly respect their authority.

When the cops came, they came out of the car. The birds came down and bit one of them.

The birds hang out on nearby telephone wires and at a roof of a home across the street, where, we would imagine, they are scheming blitzkriegs and chirping evilly to themselves. (Image: Athena Cinema)
