Architecture, like graphic design, is an art form that nearly every American interacts with on a daily basis, but few outside of  understand on any mechanical or historical level. Animators Andrea Stinga and Federico Gonzalez hope to remedy that–at least the history part–with the above animationThe ABCs of Architects. Each letter gets an important architect, his or her nationality, and a nice-looking, minimalist rendition of an iconic building. The whole thing whizzes by in under two minutes, and if you look closely, you’ll catch a few of NYC’s own landmarks (I see you, William Van Alen!).
