Last night’s derecho, the confluence of thunderstorms that was supposed to wreak untold amounts of havoc around New York, was kind of a bust. It made for plenty of good Instagram material, sure, and it lent the city some Gotham-style brooding gravitas, but did it really live up to its thunderous hype?
There were a few intrepid videographers who were able to get some pretty compelling footage of the storm. Here are a few of the best clips.
