For the above video, Austin electro-poppers the Octopus Project took 4,000 images of pieces of colorful cardstock they’d painstakingly cut into various whimsical shapes, and strung them all together, stop motion-style. And the result is even more impressive than that description might imply: bright, geometric shapes appear, morph, and fade away–set to the synthy, sprightly beat of “Whitbly,” the bands latest single.
