The deluge of laughably shitty rap songs about Hurricane Sandy came almost as soon as the storm made landfall, but now, there’s finally one worth listening to. Longtime Wu-affiliate Redman goes in over a dubby, house-y beat for his Hurricane Sandy freestyle, dropping some much-needed musical and comic relief on waterlogged New Yorkers. Incidentally, Blackout, Red’s 1999 collaboration with Method Man, was the perfect soundtrack to the week when the lights went out.
