Today, NASA unveiled the prototype for a new generation of spacesuits–its first in two decades–and it looks suspiciously like the getup worn by a certain toy space ranger.

Apparently, the Z-1 Prototype Spacesuit and Portable Life Support System 2.0 adds a new rear entry-point, making it easier for astronauts to get in and out of, and to properly pressurize the suit when entering and leaving a spacecraft. It should be ready for production within the next few years.

No word on where the inspiration for those lime-green stripes came from. To infinity, and beyond!
