The latest cable news talking point is that President Obama will be running a “campaign of fear” against Mitt Romney. I think this sounds like a good idea.

Hah. Hah.
Oh, yeah, since the current president authorizes illegal wars in Libya w zero congressional approval, lets the DEA kick down and intimidate even more weed users, is deporting more immigrants than that idiot Bush ever pursued, and has authorized 5 TIMES the amount of drone strikes than Bush II – in countries we aren't even at war with.
But, hey doucenozzle, you'll buy anything they spoonfeed you as long as it's TEAM BLUE, huh?
I like "doucenozzle", that's a good one. "Douce" is of course French for "sweet" -"sweetnozzle" – like a fountain of sweet. How about "doucenuzzle"? That would be a good pet name for a girlfriend/boyfriend.
You are a asshole!_
BOTH Romney & Obama (Vulture capitalist/Goldman Sachs clients) are scary..It's time for a REAL change!
I'm not as upset as the first guy, but I don't believe in a politics of fear. The president is the president. No matter what party he comes from he's not going to do anything waaay out of hand. The implication that Cheney's Iraq war is something to be mindful of doesn't stand up to me. A tiny, tiny percent of anyone, politicians and layman, were against the Iraq war in it's infancy. And I'll risk the ire of the internet and say that, from a larger perspective, the Iraq war was not a failure and was no where near as bad as Vietnam.
Having said that, I applaud Jay Smooth in making this Bush/Romney (as puppets) comparison, as I had not thought of it before. It's absolutely valid, and definitely a huge detractor from Romney and something to consider as a possibility.
"And I'll risk the ire of the internet and say that, from a larger perspective, the Iraq war was not a failure and was no where near as bad as Vietnam"
Here's where u might be wrong. In Vietnam, the US finally had to de-occupy after public/political pressure. The US did'nt have the chance to 'colonize' it, so to speak..Meanwhile in Iraq, we still have "military advisers" along with a HUGE base protecting our 'interests'(Oil,Defense,Multi-nationals).Iraq just might well be, in time, even FAR WORST than Vietnam.
I 100% agree with your sentiment here. Though, on some level didn't Obama do a similar thing by moving to the center when he took office?
Two quick notes: What happened to the cat? Also, three clicks to get to a 'play' button on the video is a little off-putting. It's almost like you don't want us to watch this video.
Wonderful VLOG. Rooting for Obama.
Jay Smooth – I just posted a bunch of your vcasts on my FB page and told people that there's no one better to spend at least part of a Friday night with than you. I'm a fan.
Unable to access video on iPhone. Is there a conventional YouTube version which is available multi-platform?
Ok, Woody was never creepy. Cheney before and now lurking in the shadows of the Romney campaign is extremely creepy and terrifying.
And it goes without saying that Romney has always been a creep.
