One quibble, Jay: This isn't the FIRST time most American babies were non-white. Just the first time since that whole "genocide of the American Indians" thing.

You are sweet. Nah, the payback they fear isn't going to happen. What IS going to happen is a bunch of young POCs are going to be paying into social security to support a bunch of old, White people. I live in Cali and work at a public university. Today, my program graduated students whose famiiles come from every continent on the planet. White folk have been a minority around here for a while. The sky hasn't fallen. Far from it. It is gorgeous.

I don't know where these people live that this would be "news". Just drive by any school playground, and it's obvious that the future is multicultural, and has been for a while now.

"Member of the People of Color Advisory Board" … awesome. When someone asks me what the "Black perspective" is, I often say something like "I'll ask them at the next meeting."
I mean, women have been more than half the population for a long while and you don't see us in charge of all of the things.
