Swedish photographer Moa Karlberg captured pedestrian strangers checking themselves out in one-way-mirror reflections, from the other side of the glass. Sneaky. The subjects of Watching Me, Watching You stare quite revealingly when confronted with themselves, yet, there is a certain sterile calm about these portraits through glass.

When compared to Michael Wolf’s Tokyo Compressions – and those tired strangers teeming in fogged up, translucent tin-cans of Tokyo transit – Karlberg’s strangers start to look lonely.
