Although Governor Cuomo has repeatedly promised not to reinstate the millionaires’ tax, he never planned on Occupy Wall Street’s campaign to be so damn effective, and now he’s being forced to tweak his position. Since he couldn’t just go back on his word, he’ll let the surcharge on rich people expire as promised, but will then push for an overhaul of the tax code so the 1% do pay more and the middle class gets a tax break. Played like a true politician!
