puerto_rico.jpgAlthough they’re not allowed to vote for president in the general election, Puerto Ricans did voice their preference for the Democratic presidential nominee: “Sen. Hillary Clinton won the Puerto Rico Democratic primary in a landslide yesterday. CNN reports that Clinton topped Sen. Barack Obama 68%-32%, with 263,120 votes to Obama’s 121,458. The AP adds that after yesterday’s primary, Obama “has a total of 2,071 delegates, leaving him 47 shy of the number needed to clinch the nomination, with two primaries remaining. Clinton has 1915.5, according to the latest tally by the AP.” Even with this defeat, Obama is only 44 delegates away from clinching this thing, although Clinton, wide eyed and clearly losing her mind, is ready to keep fighting. |USNews|
